Brent Vernon is an inpirational singer, songwriter and ventriloquist based in Hobe Sound, Florida. He is also a children's book author and illustrator. In his 30 year career, Brent's concert schedule has taken him to all 50 United States and beyond, performing in Ireland, Australia, Canada, and the beautiful Caribbean.

Ventriloquist & Puppeteer: Sam & Friends

A hallmark of Brent’s live performances is his work as a ventriloquist, most notably alongside his puppet pal, Sam. With a winning mix of humor and heart, Sam brings joy and shares life lessons to children and adults alike. Occasionally joined by other puppet friends, Brent’s concerts are both entertaining and thought-provoking, offering laughter and insight in equal measure.

 Author & Illustrator: Children’s Books 

Brent is the author and illustrator of seven children’s books, including two signature series. The Gingerbrood is delightful batch of gingerbread cookie characters; Audrey Amaka is a neckless giraffe (with a good head on her shoulders!) Brent’s expertise as a children’s book designer and illustrator shines through on every page, creating imaginative worlds that captivate young readers. In addition to his own stories, he offers creative direction and illustration for other authors and publishers, bringing polish and charm to each project.
